For the 30th edition of CINEMANIA, North America’s leading francophone film festival, I was responsible for curating, producing, and delivering the “France in Focus” program, a large-scale cultural initiative highlighting France as guest country.
The program brought together 17 institutional partners and over 40 French delegates. It featured 20 films, two exhibitions, two conferences, and a VR showcase extended over 10 days. I coordinated every aspect of this program: editorial content, cultural partnerships, public events, delegation management, and budget oversight.
I also directed the production of an urban exhibition — Heritage on Screen — curated a retrospective of iconic female figures in French cinema, and oversaw the full execution of CINEMANIA VR, in partnership with the Institut Français, Consulat Général de France à Québec, and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux.
From concept to delivery, I managed ideation, logistics, communications, scenography, and public relations — ensuring a seamless experience for audiences, partners, and guests. Despite significant time constraints and production challenges, the program was a public and critical success.
→ A multifaceted leadership role blending curation, cultural diplomacy, and large-scale production.
