Fontevraud Royal Abbey
Press & Public Relations

There are places that hold centuries in their stones. Fontevraud Royal Abbey is one of them, a UNESCO World Heritage site where history and art meet hospitality.
I spent a year there, immersed in the language of heritage and storytelling. My role was to translate the Abbey's essence into something the world could understand: coordinating press relations across borders, welcoming journalists into the quietude of the cloisters, shaping narratives that honored both past and present.
I worked across channels: editorial content, trade events, and strategic positioning. I helped frame the Abbey not just as a museum or a luxury hotel or a Michelin-starred destination, but as a living site. A place where two feature films were shot during my time there. A place that could hold multiple truths at once. What I learned: heritage communication is not about loudness. It's about precision, finding the right words to carry diversity.
This experience shaped how I approach narrative work today: with reverence for what already exists, and the courage to help it unfold.
